Custom Schmidt DB9 to 4 pin Deutsch cable required. This cable must be constructed by the installer prior to installation.

DB9 pin 2 - Deutsch pin 2

DB9 pin 3 - Deutsch pin 3

DB9 pin 5 - Deutsch pin 4

Connect custom Schmidt cable to the ALC port

Connect the other end of custom Schmidt cable to the IOX-WRKS primary port

Use HRN-DB9SI15 if additional length is required.

Schmidt Com settings (RS-232 setup) require:

Baud rate 9600

Parity None

Stop Bits 1

Data bits 1

RS232 protocol : EN15430-1:2015

Turn Schmidt controller on using the power button on the top left of the control head.
-
Press the Menu button (top right) to enter the Driver menu screen.
-
In the “Driver” tab, select |Simulate driving speed”.
-
Return to the operator screen and confirm Sim speed.
-
Press the “0/1" button to activate the controller.
-
Confirm data is being captured.

Return the controller to “Sim speed off” when testing is completed
-
Never leave a controller in simulation mode!
